Shelby Bradford '10, '10G was a four-year letterwinner as a forward on the Husson women's soccer (2006-2009) and women's basketball teams (2007-2010) and two-year member of the women's lacrosse program (2009-2010) as an attacker.

Bradford's jersey is retired in women's soccer and women's basketball. She is the only women's soccer player in program history to have her jersey retired.

On the pitch, Bradford netted 64 goals and 37 assists for 165 points off 338 shots with 11 game-winning tallies in 64 career games played for hall of fame member Keith Bosley.

At the time of her induction - Bradford was the school's all-time career leader in points, goals and shots. She also ranked among the program's top-10 career leaders in assists (second) and game-winning goals (tied for second) and held the single-season records for assists (15 in 2008), points (65 in 2006), shots (128 in 2008) and game-winning goals (six in 2006).

Bradford helped guide the Eagles to four North Atlantic Conference Championships and berths in the National Collegiate Athletics Association Division III National Championship. She also helped the 2008 team win the program's first-ever national tournament game, a 2-0 shutout road victory over Norwich University and was a member of the 2006 team that held the program’s single-season record for victories with 17 - at the time of her induction. 

The program was 62-22-2 (.733) overall during her time at Husson, marking the highest winning percentage by a four-year class - at the time of her induction.

Bradford was named an ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American by the College Sports Communicators and was a three-time member of the All-NAC squad, NAC all-tournament team and United Soccer Coaches All-New England Region team. She was voted the NAC player of the year in 2006 and NAC tournament MVP in 2008. Off the field, Bradford was a two-time member of the NAC all-academic team and was voted CSC academic all district in 2009.

On the hardwood, Bradford finished her career with 1,534 points, 223 assists, 953 rebounds, 286 steals and 26 blocks, while shooting 51.3 percent (571-1113) from the floor and 74.1 percent (390-526) from the free throw line in 96 career games played for hall of fame member Kissy Walker '03G. She averaged 16.0 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.9 steals per game in his career.

At the time of her induction, the two-time NAC player of the year ranked in the top-10 in Husson women's basketball history in points (second), scoring average (third), field goals made (second), free throws made (second), rebounds (second), field goal percentage (third), steals (fourth) and is record holder for rebounds (324 in 2009-2010) in a single-season.

In 2009-2010 Bradford helped guide the Eagles to their first NAC championship in program history and berth into the NCAA division III national championship for the first time since the 2003-2004 season.

Bradford was three-year member of the All-NAC squad and earned a spot on the NAC all-tournament team in 2008-2009. She was selected to the New England Women's Basketball Association All-Region First Team and to the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-State First Team in 2009-2010 while becoming the first student-athlete in program history to be named MWBCA player of the year.

Off the court, Bradford was named to the NAC all-academic and to the CSC academic all-district teams twice while earning CSC ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America second team honors in 2009-2010.

In women's lacrosse, Bradford scored 87 goals with 43 assists for a total of 130 points while recording 120 draw controls, 176 ground balls and 36 caused turnovers in 26 career games for coach Mark Hundhammer.

Bradford entered the hall of fame ranked among the program's top-10 career leaders in points (first), shots (224, first), shots on goal (174, first), ground balls (first), women-down goals (five, first), game-winning goals (three, tied for first), assists (second), draw controls (second), goals (third), free-position goals (11, fourth) and caused turnovers (10th).

At the time of induction, Bradford held the single-season records for points (70 in 2010), game-winning goals (three in 2010), assists (28 in 2010), shots (123 in 2010), draw controls (78 in 2010) and woman-down goals (four in 2010) in addition to holding the single-game records for points (nine vs. Thomas College in 2009 ), assists (five vs. Thomas College in 2009), ground balls (15 vs. Regis College in 2009), woman-down goals (three at Becker College in 2010) and free-position goals (four vs. Saint Joseph's College of Maine in 2010).

In 2009, Bradford led the nation in ground balls per game (6.75).

As a senior, Bradford helped the team win a single-season school-record 11 games - at the time of her induction and the 2010 NAC east division championship.

Bradford was a two-time member of the All-NAC squad. She was named to the NAC all-tournament team in 2009 and 2010, and was named MVP in 2010.

Off the field, Bradford was a two-time member of the NAC all-academic team and in 2010 was voted to the CSC academic all-district team and an CSC ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American.

Bradford earned a bachelor of science in psychology and a master of science in occupational therapy from Husson in 2010.
 
A native of Lee, Maine, Bradford attended Lee Academy.
