A transfer from Florida Southern College, Nathan Adams '12 served as the ace of the Eagles’ pitching staff during one of the most successful eras in Husson baseball history, playing for coach Jason Harvey '07 from 2009-2012.
The three-time all-conference selection posted a 25-15 record with 188 strikeouts and 26 complete games, while only issuing 86 walks in 277.1 innings. He posted a career earned run average of 3.28 and a 1.23 walks and hits per inning pitched average, while striking out 6.10 batters per nine innings. Adams allowed just 8.24 hits and 2.79 walks per nine innings and holding his opponents to a .241 average in four seasons under head coach Jason Harvey '07.
At the time of his induction - Adams was the program’s all-time career leader in wins and was tied for the most career shutouts with fellow hall of fame members Ron Soucie '71 and Wayne Hartford '67 with seven. Additionally, Adams ranked among the programs top-25 career leaders in appearances (45, fifth), games started (39, second), innings pitched (second), strikeouts (ninth), complete games (second), and WHIP (tied for 14th).
During his career, Husson posted a four-year record of 104-70 (.598) and captured the 2009 North Atlantic Conference Championship, the 2011 North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship, the 2011 NEAC east division championship, and the 2011 NEAC east division regular-season title.
Adams earned a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in sport management in 2012.
A native of Frankfort, Maine, Adams attended Searsport District High School.
