Regarded as the most prolific passing quarterback in Husson University football program history, Cory Brandon played for the Eagles from 2015 to 2018 under Coach Gabby Price.
A three-time all-conference quarterback selection, Brandon earned first-team honors in 2016 and 2017 and second team in 2018. He was part of Husson winning four-straight Eastern Collegiate Football Conference championships from 2015-18 and making four-consecutive trips to the NCAA Division III Football National Championship playoffs.
Brandon finished his career with 7,213 passing yards, 75 touchdowns, 8.4 yards per completion, 171.7 yards per game, 62 percent completion and 154.9 passing efficiency rating in 42 career games.
The 2018-19 Del Merrill Male Athlete of the Year recipient, Brandon earned Hansen Ratings All-ECFC Quarterback honors in 2017, Noontime Sports All-New England Team in 2016. He was also named to the Noontime Sports Maine Team of the Decade 2010-19 along with Noontime Sports ECFC Preseason Players to Watch in 2017.
Brandon is ranked first all-time in passing yards, passing touchdowns, passing efficiency, average yards per attempt and total offense per play. He also is ranked second in passing attempts, completion percentage, passing yards per game, touchdowns responsible for, third all-time in total offensive yards and total offensive yards per game.
Additionally, Brandon quarterbacked the 2017 team that won a program-best 10 games, upsetting No. 19/No. 20 Springfield College on the road in the first round of the NCAA Division III Football National Championship.
Brandon earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Husson in 2019. A native of Pembroke, Massachusetts, Brandon attended Pembroke High School.
