Husson University

Randy Fletcher '03 was a four-year letterwinner as a forward on the Husson men's basketball team, playing for hall of fame member Warren Caruso '89, 08G, '18G from 2000-2003.

Fletcher finished his career with 1,464 points, 114 assists, 816 rebounds, 111 steals and 105 blocks, while shooting 56.9 percent (605-1063) from the floor, 43.4 percent (23-53) from behind the 3-point arc and 44.2 percent (231-442) from the free throw line in 112 career games. He averaged 13.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.6 steals per game in his career.

At the time of his induction, Fletcher ranked among the program's top-25 career leaders in blocked shots (second), rebounds (ninth), field goals made (605, 12th), field goal percentage (13th), games played (14th), points (15th), free throws made (22nd), steals (22nd).

The three-time all-conference choice helped guide the Braves to two Maine Athletic Conference Regular-Season and Tournament Championships, a Sunrise Conference Regular-Season and Tournament titles and three appearances in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics National Championship Tournament.

Fletcher was three-time Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association All-State selection and a two-time NAIA All-American honoree, including being named to the MMBCWA all-state rookie team in 2000. In 2003, Fletcher was tabbed as the MMBCWA player of the year and the Sunrise player of the year. He was also a two-time recipient of the Nelson Degrasse Award.

Fletcher played professional basketball in Ireland's Premier League.

Fletcher earned a bachelor of science in computer information systems from Husson in 2003.

A native of Washington D.C., Fletcher attended Potomac High School.
