Deidra Ham '06, '07G was a standout midfielder for the Husson women’s soccer program from 2002-2005, helping the Eagles post a record of 40-28-9 during varsity career with four postseason appearances.
A four-year starter for hall of fame member Keith Bosley, Ham led the Eagles to two straight North Atlantic Conference runner-up finishes from 2003-2004 and the program’s first-ever berth into the National Collegiate Athletics Association Division III National Championship with an at-large bid in 2003, losing to the University of Maine at Farmington, 1-0 at John P. Boucher Field.
Despite only playing in 72 career games, Ham scored 68 points (26 goals, 16 assists) in four seasons. She was a first team All-NAC and all-tournament selection in 2004. Ham scored 16 points (six goals, four assists) as a junior and helped the Braves finish the 2004 season with a program record 13-5-2 record at the time and 10-0-2 record in conference play to earn the program’s first NAC regular-season title.
The two-time captain entered the hall of fame ranked eighth in shots (173), ninth in assists, tenth in points, tied for 11th in game-winning goals (six) and 12th in goals.
Off the field, Ham was selected to the NAC all-academic team in 2004 and 2005.
Ham earned a bachelor of science in psychology from Husson in 2005 and a master of science in occupational therapy in 2007.
A native of Lincoln, Maine, Ham attended Lee Academy.
