Chandler Guerrette was a standout guard for the women’s basketball program under hall of fame head coach Kissy Walker from 2013-16.
In 105 career games, Guerrette tallied 1,333 points, averaging 12.7 per game to go along with 3.9 rebounds, 294 assists and 255 steals.
The four-time North Atlantic Conference All-Conference selection was the NAC player of the year in 2017 and rookie of the year in 2014.
Guerrette helped guide the Eagles to a NAC championship in 2017 and an NCAA tournament appearance that same season.
The 2016-17 Clara Swan Female Athlete of the Year, Guerrette was the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association State Rookie of the Year in 2014 and an All-State selection in 2017. Additionally, Guerrette earned conference defensive player of the year in 2016 and was the ECAC New England player of the year in 2017.
During her four years with the Eagles, Guerrette was voted to the NAC all-tournament team three times, earned D3hoops.com All-Northeast Region Third Team in 2017 and was part of the New England Women's Basketball Association All-Region Team that same season.
The 2017 women’s basketball Eagle Award recipient, Guerrette was a two-time conference all-academic team selection and at the time of her induction ranked fifth all-time in points and steals along with seventh with a 2.4 steals per game average, eighth in 3-point field goals made, 11th in scoring average, 11th in free throw percentage (.756) and 11th in career assists.
Guerrette earned a Bachelor of Science in healthcare administration & public health from Husson in 2017 and a Master of Science in occupational therapy from Husson in 2018.
A native of Presque Isle, Maine, Guerrette attended Presque Isle High School.
