With a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a Masters Degree inTaxation, Dewey is a Certified Public Accountant and a CertifiedManagement Accountant. He has worked for two of the largestaccounting firms in the world, most recently as a manager atPricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston. He is currently the sole owner ofa public accounting practice with many small business and personalclients. Dewey has been on the full-time faculty at Husson for 31years and has loved every minute in the classroom. He is a memberof many professional organizations and has been recognized as theAccountant Advocate of the year for Maine and New England by theSmall Business Administration. In addition, the Maine Society ofCPAs presented him with their Public Service Award and HampdenBusiness Association named him the Businessperson of the Year for2011. He is also President-Elect of the Maine Society ofCPA’s and a long term member of the Guardian Advisory Councilfor Maine in the National Federation of Independent Business.
