Anne Marie Woodsum '07 is regarded as one of the best outside hitters in women's volleyball program history, playing for coach Pat DeBeck from 2003-2005.
A three-time All-North Atlantic Conference selection, Woodsum registered 821 kills, 307 aces, 390 digs, 59 block solos, four block assists, 63 total blocks, and 1,189.0 points in 87 matches played (284 sets). Woodsum averaged 2.90 kills, 1.08 aces and 4.19 points per set while posting a hitting percentage of .401 in her career.
At the time of her induction, Woodsum was the program's all-time career leader in hitting percentage and points per set while being ranked among the program's top-10 career leaders in kills (third), kills per set (second), assists per set (0.45, eighth), aces (second), aces per set (second), block solos (sixth) and points (second). In addition to holding the single-season records for kills (386 in 2005), kills per set (3.82 in 2005), hitting percentage (.483 in 2005), aces (132 in 2004), aces per set (1.32), points (524.0 in 2005) and points per set (5.19 in 2005).
Woodsum helped guide to Husson to a 57-30 overall record, including a 19-9 mark in NAC play while she led the Eagles to the NAC semifinals on three different occasions.
Woodsum earned a bachelor of science in nursing from Husson in 2007.
A native of Harrington, Maine, Woodsum attended Narraguagus High School.
