Aimee Mortensen '13 was a four-time All-North Atlantic Conference First Team selection at third base and shortstop over her four-year softball career, playing for hall of fame member Amanda Bourgoin from 2010-2013.
In 168 career games, Mortensen hit .333 (155-465) with 104 runs, 31 doubles, three triples, three home runs, 105 RBI, and 21 stolen bases.
The 2011 NAC player of the year also posted a career .432 slugging percentage, a .400 on-base percentage, a .833 on-base plus slugging percentage, and an .870 stolen base percentage with 201 total bases and 37 extra-base hits.
The 2010 NAC rookie of the year entered the hall of fame as the program's all-time career leader in games played, games started (167), and assists (326). At the time of her induction, Mortensen ranked tied for fourth in at-bats; fifth in RBI and sacrifice hits (21); sixth in hits and chances (553); tied for seventh in walks (51); eighth in double plays turned (10); tied for eighth in sacrifice flies (6); ninth in doubles; 11th in total bases; 12th in runs scored; and 15th in fielding percentage (.969).
During her career, Husson posted a four-year record of 118-59-1 (.666) and captured four NAC championships with four trips to the National Collegiate Athletics Association Division III Championship tournament. Mortensen was also a two-time Eagle Award recipient.
Mortensen earned a bachelor of science in physical education from Husson in 2013.
A native of Biddeford, Maine, Mortensen attended Biddeford High School.
