Hall of Fame
One of the most productive players in Husson University softball history, Lyndsay Merrill played four seasons for the Eagles from 2013 to 2016.
A three-time North Atlantic Conference selection in 2014, 2015 and 2016, Merrill helped the Eagles win three-straight NAC championships from 2013-15 and make three-consecutive NCAA regional appearances.
Merrill finished her career hitting .372 with 116 runs, 167 hits, 36 doubles, 17 triples, 10 homeruns, 106 RBIs, 12 walks, 26 hit by pitches and 18-20 on stolen bases.
In 2016, Merrill was named as an NAC All-Tournament Team selection, became the first player in program history to be crowned NAC Senior Scholar Athlete, and earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors. In 2015, she selected to the NCAA Regional All-Tournament Team and named the Husson softball Eagle Award recipient.
At the time of her induction, Merrill ranks first in program history in hit by pitches and triples, fourth in total bases, fifth in slugging percentage, hits, runs batted in, sixth in at bats, seventh in doubles, eighth in games played, ninth in runs scored, and 10th in career average and homeruns.
Merrill earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in sport management and Master of Business of Administration from Husson in 2017.
A native of Bethal, Maine, Merrill attended Telstar Regional High School.
