Yanush ('95) was a four-year softball star at shortstop for coach Shannon Whiting.

The Old Town native owns Husson career records for home runs (6) and triples (8) and ranks second all-time with 124 hits, 115 runs and 50 stolen bases.

"Lori was a standout at Husson, clearly one of the best ever," Whiting said. "Though her offensive stats are fantastic, I remember her solid defense, teamwork and sportsmanship."
