Ross Salovitch '08 was an impact player for the Husson football program during its early stages at the varsity level, playing inside linebacker for coach Gabby Price from 2004-2007.

Salovitch tailed 246 tackles (165 unassisted, 81 assisted, and 34 for loss), 11 sacks, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and four interceptions in 36 career games played.

At the time of his induction, Salovitch ranked among the program's top-10 career leaders in interceptions (tied for eighth), total tackles (third), unassisted tackles (third), assisted tackles (fourth), tackles for loss (fifth), yards from tackles for loss (166, fifth), sacks (fifth), yards from sacks (99, third), fumbles forced (tied for second), and fumbles recovered (tied for seventh).

The senior captain helped Husson win 18 games during his four seasons, including the program's first ever victory, which came over Southern Virginia University in 2004 and upset victories over National Collegiate Athletics Association Division I-A member La Salle University in 2006 and NCAA division II member Pace University in 2007.

Salovitch was the first member of the Husson University football program to be inducted into the Husson Sports Hall of Fame since the program was continued in 2002.

Salovitch earned a bachelor of science in business administration with an emphasis in sport management from Husson in 2008.

A native of Londonderry, New Hampshire, Salovitch attended Pinkerton Academy.
