Julius "Juice" Williams '11 is one of the greatest running backs in the history of Husson football, earning four letters from 2005 and 2007-2009 for coach Gabby Price and coach Niles Nelson.
In 35 career games played, Williams ran for 3,391 total yards on 620 attempts with 46 touchdowns and caught 12 passes for 61 yards for 3,652 all-purpose yards.
Williams entered the hall of fame ranked among the program's top-10 career leaders in rushing yards (second), rushing attempts (second), average yards per rush (5.79, second), rushing yards per game (102.6, second), rushing touchdowns (second), total points scored (280), all-purpose yards (second), all-purpose yards per game (104.3, third), total offense per game (102.6, third), total offense yards (3,591, third) and total offense per play (5.78, fourth) in addition to having the second most 100 yard (17) and 200 yard (3) rushing games in program history.
As a senior, Williams led the newly formed Eastern Collegiate Football Conference in average yards per rush (6.64) and ranked second in rushing yards (1,042) and yards per game (115.8). He also set the single-game record for the highest average gain per rush (15.6 vs. Becker in 2009) and the Eagles’ single-season mark for average yards per rush, while being named to the ECFC first team as a running back.
He posted his strongest season in a Husson uniform in 2008 as a junior, setting the Eagles’ single-season records for rushing touchdowns (15), total points scored (90), touchdowns scored (15), rushing yards (1,260), touchdown responsible for (15), and the single-game records rushing touchdowns (four at SUNY-Maritime), highest average gain per rush (10.2 at Becker) at the time en route to helping the Eagles a post a program record at the time 7-3 mark en route to earning the program's first-ever post season appearance.
Williams was selected as a team captain during his senior season in 2009.
Williams was a member of the Husson coaching staff from 2010-2013 coaching the running backs.
Williams earned a business administration with an emphasis in Sport Management from Husson in 2010.
A native of Boston, Mass., Williams attended East Boston High School.
