Kelly A. Dow '00 was a three-sport athlete at Husson University, earning 10 varsity letters from 1997-2000. Dow played two seasons of women's volleyball from 1997-1998, but her true passion came on the Braves' hardwood and softball diamond where she was a four-year starter for the Husson women's basketball and softball programs from 1997-2000.

On the hardwood, Dow netted 1,249 points for a 12.1 points per game average, while shooting 50.8% (520-1024) from the field, and 65.0% (197-303) from the free throw line in 103 career games played.

The two-time Maine Athletic Conference First Team choice will enter the hall of fame ranked among the program's all-time top-10 career leaders in points (fifth), field goals made (fourth), field goal percentage (tied for third), rebounds (650, eighth), blocked shots (141, second), and blocked shot average (1.4, third).

Dow garnered MAC player of the year honors as well as being named to the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-State First Team and to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American Second Team after contributing 16.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. Dow finished the season shooting 51.6% (142-275) from the field and 65.3% (64-98) from the free throw line over 22 contests during her senior season (1999-2000).

On the diamond, Dow earned 34 wins and posted a 2.95 earned run average in 510.2 innings, with 236 strikeouts and limiting opponents to a .266 batting average against. Dow tossed 74 complete games and 10 shutouts in 82 career starts, while earning one save.

The three-time all-conference choice also had a productive career at the plate for Husson, posting a .309 batting average in 118 games played, recording 116 hits, six home runs, 27 doubles and three triples, in addition to 87 RBIs. Dow also recorded 62 career walks and 20 stolen bases, while posting a .409 on-base percentage and a .477 slugging percentage.

At the time of her induction, Dow ranked among the program's top-10 career leaders in doubles (tied for eighth), home runs (ninth), RBI's (tied for ninth), and walks (fourth). The two-time captain also ranked inside the top-10 for every notable pitching statistic in Husson softball history. Dow also threw Husson's second perfect game in program history at Maine Maritime Academy in 2000.

On the volleyball court, the 1997 MAC rookie of the year recorded 404 kills, 42 assists and 100 services aces in 126 career sets played (40 matches). Dow also garnered all-conference second team honors in 1997 and first team accolades in 1998.

Dow posted a combined record of 143-138 (.727) overall record with a 72-36 (.816) mark in conference play. Additionally, Dow competed in three conference championships with one MAC title and one NAIA tournament berth.

Dow earned a bachelor of science in business administration with an emphasis in sport management from Husson in 2000.

A native of Calais, Maine, Dow attended Calais High School.
