Jean T. Murphy is from Millinocket, Maine. Jean graduated fromHusson in 1959 and was inducted into the Husson Sports Hall of Famein 1989.

At Husson Jean studied Medical Secretarial while playingbasketball for two years. In the right forward position Jean scoredover 100 points in both seasons of playing, with 115 in 1958 and119 in 1959. She was named captain in 1959. She also stayed activeon campus being a member of Delta Sigma Delta, Student Council andClass Vice President for 2 years.
