Marion Kish '10 is regarded as one of the best setters to wear a Husson University women’s volleyball uniform and was a four-year letterwinner from 2006-2009, serving as team captain all four-years for coach Pat DeBeck.
The four-time all-conference selection recorded 301 kills in 691 attempts with a .281 attack percentage, 1,949 assists, 353 aces, 741 digs, 32 total blocks (12 solos, 20 assists), and 676.0 points in 95 career matches (316 sets).
She entered the hall of fame as the Eagles’ all-time career leader in assists, assists per set (6.17), aces, and aces per set (1.12) and ranked seventh in attack percentage and digs, tenth in sets played, 11th in points and 12th in matches played.
Kish led Husson to its third 20-win season in program history in 2007 before helping the green and gold capture the program’s first North Atlantic Conference Regular-Season Title in 2008 with a perfect mark of 6-0. She also helped the Eagles advance to three straight conference championship finals from 2007-2009.
As a senior, Kish set the program’s single-game record for the most assists in a four-set match with 40 vs. Castleton State College on November 7, 2009.
She was selected to the NAC all-tournament team in 2007, 2008, and 2009 and was the first Eagle in program history to earn a weekly award from the Eastern College Athletic Conference.
Kish earned a bachelor of science in business administration with an emphasis in sport management from Husson in 2010.
A native of Wallingford, Connecticut, Kish attended Mark T. Sheehan High School.
