Richard “Rich” R. Morano was a four-year letterwinner as an infielder on the Husson baseball team (1966-1969).

Morano was a captain for the 1968 season. He finished his career with a .341 average, 77 runs, 90 hits, three home runs, 44 RBI, and 10 stolen bases.

The infielder ranks in the top 25 in career program marks in on base percentage (.448) and batting average (.341).

Morano started 67 games for the Braves and was a key part of 54 wins over his four years on the diamond.

A captain during the 1968 season, Morano helped guided three teams to the NAIA national tournament including on NAIA District 32 Runner-Up.

Morano earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Husson in 1969.

Richard “Rich” R. Morano currently resides in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Plymouth, Massachusetts, with his wife, Donna. They have three children, Darin, Jamie, and Cari. Morano is currently retired.
