WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference unveiled its weekly award winners for men's soccer on Monday and Husson University men's soccer freshman Santiago Jimenez was selected as rookie of the week.

Jimenez earned his second-straight and third rookie of the week award of the season after he continued to produce for the Eagles as a first-year player, as he totaled two goals and an assist for Husson in a 1-0-1 week of non-conference play. On Wednesday, Jimenez produced one goal and one assist in Husson's dominating 5-1 win at home over the University of New England, while he concluded the week with a second-half goal in a thrilling 3-3 tie for the Eagles at Colby College on Sunday.

Additionally for Husson, sophomore Miguel Diaz Alvarez was named to the weekly honor roll for his efforts over the past week.

The Eagles are back in action on Saturday when they head to the University of Maine at Farmington for a 1 p.m. contest.
