BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University women's soccer team has announced the commitment of Olivia Lizzotte to its 2026 recruiting class.
Lizzotte comes to Husson from Old Town, Maine, where she attended Old Town High School and played four years of varsity soccer for the Coyotes.
An outside back for Old Town, Lizzotte was a Penobscot Valley Conference All-Conference First Team selection this past season, in addition to winning the Coyote Award and MVP Award for her team.
In addition to playing for Old Town, Lizzotte also has played three years of club soccer for Seacoast United, while earning a Northern Maine Class B Runner-Up finish with Old Town during her freshman season.
"I decided to go to Husson because of the strong student-athlete experience I can receive," Lizzotte said. "Husson has a well-rounded nursing program that sparked my interest, and Husson gives me the opportunity to continue to play at the next level. I also knew from the start that I wanted to stay close to home, and I could not be more excited to start this experience!"

"I would like to say a huge thank you to all my family and friends who have supported me over the years and guided me to where I am today. Thank you to my teammates and coaches who have pushed me to be a better player, and lastly, thank you to Coach Mullins for allowing me this opportunity!"
Lizzotte will be joining her older brother, Jackson, who is a sophomore on the Husson baseball team, and plans on studying nursing.
