BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University women's soccer team has named Ainsley Migneault as its newest commitment for its 2026 recruiting class.
Migneault comes to Husson from Madawaska, Maine, where she played four years of varsity soccer for Madawaska Middle/High School.
In addition to playing for the Owls, Migneault also played club soccer for Soccer Edmundston of the New Brunswick Soccer League, U18AA, where she won a Provincial Championship in 2024 with the club.
A talented midfielder for Madawaska, Migneault was a United Soccer Coaches All-Region team selection this past season, while winning the Madawaska Offensive Player of the Year and MVP in 2025 and the Madawaska Defensive Player of the Year in 2024, in addition to being an Aroostook County All-Star in 2025 and 2024.
"I chose Husson because it immediately felt like home," said Migneault. "I love how small and close-knit it is."
Off the field, Migneault has earned both high honors and honor roll, while also being a member of the National Honor Society.
"I would like to thank my parents and siblings for their constant love, support, and dedication towards watching me play, as well as my coaches and all former teammates for pushing me to be a better player and supporting me over the years," said Migneault.
While at Husson, Migneault plans to study nursing.
