WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference selected its weekly award winners for women's lacrosse on Monday and Husson University sophomore Kate Boehmcke was voted defensive player of the week.
Boehmcke contributed an all-around strong week in Husson's two games, as she totaled three ground balls, two caused turnovers and six draw control wins in a close loss to Maine Maritime Academy, while also scoring four goals. Boehmcke ended the week with six ground balls, four caused turnovers and five draw control wins against Dean College, in addition to scoring two goals.
The Eagles are back on the field on Saturday for senior day as they host the University of Maine at Farmington at 3:30 p.m.
