BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University women's soccer team has named Jordyn Lloyd as its newest recruit in its 2026 class.

Lloyd joins Husson from Charles H. McCann Technical School in North Adams, Massachusetts, where she played four years of varsity soccer.

In addition to playing center forward for her varsity squad, Lloyd also has club soccer experience with Bay State Games Central Showcase Team from 2022-25, which she won a club championship with, in addition to currently playing for Berkshire Ajax Soccer Club.

Lloyd has earned All-Western Massachusetts Honors and First Team selections the last two years and PVIAC All-League honors those same seasons. Additionally, Lloyd was a MassLive States Best Forward Nomination this past season, in addition to a Massachusetts Senior All-Star Game Recognition.

"I decided to attend Husson University because Husson checked all of my boxes within my college search," said Lloyd. "Husson has an amazing physical therapy program, which was a primary factor in my decision to attend Husson University. My education, however, was not the only reason I chose Husson; I chose Husson because I felt genuinely welcomed within Husson's community, and it felt like somewhere I could genuinely see myself."

In addition to scoring 51 goals and dishing out 24 assists for McCann Tech, Lloyd is also a high honors student off the field.

"I would like to give a huge thank you to my Mom and Dad for constantly supporting me throughout my journey of navigating and continuing to pursue both my academic and athletic goals, and committing to pursue both my academic and athletic career," continued Lloyd. "I would also like to give a big thank you to my coaches, friends, and my boyfriend Zach, who has also supported me along this journey. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and the support I received to continue both my academic and athletic goals."

While at Husson, Lloyd plans to study exercise science/doctor of physical therapy.
