WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference released its weekly awards for men's soccer on Monday and Husson University men's soccer freshman Lucas Alabiso was voted player of the week.

Alabiso dazzled in the midfield for Husson in a North Atlantic Conference win over the University of Maine-Presque Isle on Saturday, tallying one goal and one assist in 45 minutes of play. Alabiso delivered a brilliant left-footed strike from just past the top of the 18-yard box to beat the UMPI goalkeeper, while also placing a through-ball on the foot of his teammate later on in the half to finish with three points for the match. Overall, the Eagles went 1-2 on the week with their two setbacks coming at the hands of No. 4 Williams College and No. 13 Bates College.

The Eagles return to the field on Saturday when they head to New York for a matchup with SUNY Cobleskill at 3:30 p.m.
