BANGOR, Maine – Ellsworth High School senior guard Lizzy Boles has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Husson University, joining the Eagles women's basketball program for the 2026–2027 season.
The 5'5" standout has been a key contributor for the Ellsworth Eagles, averaging 14.9 points, 4.2 assists, 2.9 steals, and 5.1 rebounds per game, while shooting an impressive 42.5% from three-point range. A two-time Second Team All-Conference selection, Boles has become known for her poise, competitiveness and floor leadership.
"Lizzy is a dynamic player on both ends of the floor with sharp court vision. She plays the game extremely passionately and can change the complexion of any game due to her sharp three-point shooting and rim finishing," said Ellsworth Head Coach Andy Pooler.
A multi-sport athlete, Boles is also a standout in soccer, where she has earned First Team All-Conference honors three times, as well as All-Region and All-State recognition.
"Lizzy is a tough competitor. She's deceptive, plays with great physicality, and can score at all levels –but she's equally effective at distributing the ball and making her teammates better," said head women's basketball coach Kissy Walker.
Lizzy has been playing AAU basketball for coaches Liza Muth and Chris Cameron on the Maine React Basketball Team. She will be joining her AAU teammates, Addison Cyr, Avery Clark and Dalaney Horr on the Husson Eagles Roster in 2026-2025.
Lizzy is a member of the National Honor Society and she plans to study sport management at Husson.
