BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University men's soccer team has announced the commitment of Carlos Davila, a center back who will join the Eagles.

Davila currently competes for Tennessee Tempo FC of the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL). During his time with the club, he helped Tennessee Tempo FC capture three regional championships in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Prior to joining Tennessee Tempo FC, Davila earned Most Valuable Player honors at the Regional Cup in Maracaibo, Venezuela, during the 2015-16 season. He was also recognized on the Honor Roll in 2015.

"I chose Husson University because it offers the opportunity to continue my education while pursuing my passion for soccer at the collegiate level," said Davila. "I am excited to be part of a competitive team, grow as a student-athlete, and build a strong foundation for my future through Husson's supportive community and academic programs."

Davila also expressed his gratitude to those who have supported him throughout his journey.

"I would like to thank my family for their unconditional support, sacrifices, and encouragement throughout my journey," he said. "I am also grateful to all of my coaches and teammates who have helped me develop as both a player and a person. Their guidance, belief in me, and dedication have played a major role in helping me reach this opportunity, and I am excited to represent them as I begin this new chapter at Husson University."
