WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference revealed its all-conference and major award winners for men's lacrosse on Thursday and the Husson University men's lacrosse team earned three major awards and six all-conference honors.
Senior Kiernan Field was named player of the year for a second-straight season, in addition to being a first team all-conference after he continued to prove game-in and game-out why he is one of the best players in the NAC, coming off of a player of the year selection in 2025. Field led the Eagles and the NAC with 54 goals scored on the regular season, while he also ranked tied for first on the team and tied for fourth in the NAC with 25 assists, as he led the Eagles and ranked second in the conference with 79 points. Additionally, Field finished tied for second on the Eagles with 12 caused turnovers, in addition to ranking tied for fourth on the team with 29 ground balls. Field, who was a four-time NAC player of the week during the season, recorded 10 hat tricks during the season, including five games with five or more goals, three six-goal games and one eight-goal outing. Field became the fastest player in Husson history to reach 100 career goals, as he did so in just 25 games played.
Junior Owen Giorgio picked up back-to-back defensive player of the year honors and a first team all-conference selection after he continued to prove his worth on the defensive end of the field for the Eagles. The junior recorded a co-league-high 30 caused turnovers, while scooping up a team-high 103 ground balls, which ranked third in the conference, including the best amongst non-face off specialists. Giorgio. who also scored nine goals and dished out nine assists on the season, was a three-time NAC defensive player of the week honoree, while also becoming Husson's all-time caused turnover leader to close out the regular season. Giorgio has five games with at least three caused turnovers during the year, in addition to scooping up 20 ground balls in a game earlier this year, as he was named to the USILA Division III Team of the Week two times this season and the NEILA Division III Team of the Week once.
Sophomore Matt Richardson garnered the final first team all-conference selection for the Eagles, as he was an integral part of Husson defensive unit, as he recorded 11 caused turnovers, which ranked fourth on the Husson team, while also adding 19 ground balls. Richardson recorded at least one ground ball in every game and posted two games with two caused turnovers.
Sophomore Dominic Hollenkamp was named a second team all-conference honoree following a great bounce back season for Husson after returning from a season-ending injury a season ago. The sophomore registered 37 goals, which ranked second on Husson and sixth in the NAC, while also dishing out 13 assists, which was good for fourth on the team. Hollenkamp also ranked second on the Eagles in points with 50, which was also good for ninth in the league, as he also recorded 18 ground balls and six caused turnovers. A one-time NAC player of the week selection, Hollenkamp totaled six hat tricks on the season, including one five-goal game and a six-goal outburst.
Freshman Gabe Robinson picked up a second team all-conference nod after putting together an impressive first season in a Husson uniform, as he placed third on the team with 25 goals scored, while also ranking tied for fourth on the squad with nine assists. Robinson also contributed 25 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers, which ranked tied for second on Husson, as he was a two-time NAC rookie of the week selection during the season. Robinson scored in all-but one game for the Eagles, as he totaled three hat tricks and one four-goal game.
Junior Brad Stolt earned the final all-conference second team spot for the Eagles after he was dominant for the Eagles in the face-off circle before missing just shy of half of the season due to injury. In his eight games played, Stolt registered a 72.8% win rate at the face-off dot, while adding 48 ground balls to place second on Husson.
Additionally, Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Mike O'Neill and the rest of his staff were named coaching staff of the year, while graduate student Jack Kaszubinski was named to the all-sportsmanship team.
