INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA revealed its tournament field for the upcoming Division III Men's Lacrosse tournament on Sunday evening and the Husson University men's lacrosse team will head to Massachusetts Maritime Academy for its first round game.
The Eagles, who captured their first-ever North Atlantic Conference Championship on Sunday afternoon, will take on the Buccaneers, who won the Little East Conference title on Saturday.
The two teams will square off on Wednesday evening on the campus of Mass Maritime at 7 p.m. and the winner will head to No. 4/8 Babson College for a second round matchup on Saturday at 12 p.m.
Husson and Mass Maritime have had some familiar foes during the 2026 season, as both squads defeated the University of Southern Maine and Vermont State University Castleton, while the Eagles went 1-1 against Maine Maritime Academy and the Buccaneers won their lone matchup with the Mariners. Mass Maritime also defeated Salem State University, while the Eagles fell on the road to Salem State.
Both teams enter this contest on the right foot, as Mass Maritime has won 11-consecutive contests, while Husson set a new program record for wins in a season with its 12th victory of the year in the NAC title game.
