Field, Giorgio tabbed All-ECAC honorees for second-consecutive season

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2026 Division III Men's Lacrosse All-ECAC Team and major award winners and the Husson University men's lacrosse team had two All-ECAC recipients.

Senior Kiernan Field and junior Owen Giorgio both picked up their second-consecutive All-ECAC honor.

Field was also named North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year for a second-straight season, while also earning NAC tournament MVP honors and spots on the NAC All-Conference First Team and NAC All-Tournament team.

Giorgio was selected as NAC Defensive Player of the Year for the second year in a row, while also earning all-conference first team honors and an all-tournament team spot for the NAC.

Salisbury University attacker Connor Herraiz won Offensive Player of the Year. Ty Cougler, defender from Keene State College won Defensive Player of the Year. Ryan Parent from Maine Maritime Academy won Rookie of the Year, and United States Merchant Marine Academy Head Coach Dan Paccione won Coach of the Year.

ABOUT THE ECAC
The ECAC is an eighty-six year old intercollegiate athletics organization with roughly 200 member schools for traditional sports across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III - that exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in NCAA sports, and provide great value for universities, by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the country. The ECAC also hosts a comprehensive esports program, with over 300 schools, 4,000 teams and 10,000-plus participants in twenty-four different games titles.
