WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference announced its weekly award winners for track & field on Tuesday and Husson University men's track & field junior Carmy Kaniki was tabbed co-track athlete of the week.
Kaniki posted two top three finishes on the track for Husson at the Monks Invitational on Saturday, as he set a new personal-best in both the 200 meters and the 400 meters, placing third with a time of 22.93 in the 200 and finishing second with a time of 52.99 in the 400 meters. Additionally, Kaniki was also on Husson's 4x100 meter relay team, which placed seventh.
Additionally for Husson, senior Jaden Grazulis was selected to the weekly honor roll.
The Eagles will head to Lewiston on Saturday for the Maine State Meet, hosted by Bates College at the Russell Street Track & Field.
