WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference named its weekly award winners for women's lacrosse on Monday and Husson University women's lacrosse senior Averi Baker was selected as player of the week.
Baker put together a strong senior day performance for the Eagles in a dominant 14-8 win over the University of Maine at Farmington, as she recorded three goals and two assists, in addition to four draw controls, one caused turnover and one ground ball.
Additionally for Husson, senior Laela Martinez and freshman Lauren Small were named to the honor roll for their performances on the weekend.
The Eagles are back in action tomorrow when they head to the University of Southern Maine for a 5 p.m. non-conference contest.
