Game 1: No. 20 Husson 19, VTSU Lyndon 0 (5 innings)
Husson (18-3, 3-0 NAC) wasted no time setting the tone in the opener, scoring in every inning en route to a 19-run outburst. After taking a 1-0 lead in the first on an RBI single from senior Tayler Watterson, the Eagles broke the game open in the second inning. Capitalizing on defensive miscues and aggressive baserunning, Husson plated four runs, highlighted by a two-run single from senior Morgan Curtis and a run-scoring passed ball.
The Eagles delivered the decisive blow in the third inning, erupting for seven runs. Freshman Lilly Snow cleared the bases with a three-run double, junior Camryn King followed with an RBI bunt single, and senior Morgan Tainter capped the inning with a three-run inside-the-park home run to push the lead to 12-0.
Husson added another seven-run frame in the fourth inning, continuing to apply pressure throughout the lineup. Snow, Curtis, Tainter, and freshman Jetta Shook all drove in runs during the inning as the Eagles extended the lead to 19-0.

In the circle, junior Ana Lang was dominant, striking out eight over three hitless innings to earn the win. Freshman Braelynn Wilcox closed out the game, allowing just two hits over the final two innings. Husson's pitching staff combined to strike out 10 and limit Lyndon (2-3, 0-3 NAC) to just two hits.
Game 2: No. 20 Husson 7, VTSU Lyndon 0 (Forfeit)
Husson picked up a win in game two after VTSU Lyndon was not able to continue the game due to only having eight players available to take the field. The game goes down as a 7-0 win for the Eagles and no statistics will be counted for this game.
The Eagles return to non-conference action on Tuesday when they head south on I-95 to battle the University of New England at 3 p.m. in a doubleheader.
