WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference announced its weekly awards for men's golf on Monday and Husson University men's golf earned two honors.
Junior Jace Cook was named player of the week after tying for individual medalist honors at the University of Maine at Farmington Invitational on Sunday where he shot a two-over par, 72. Cook also tied for 17th-place the day prior in the Colby Sid Farr Invitational after shooting a 14-over par, 84.
Freshman Michael Bruce won co-rookie of the week after posting an 11th-place finish in the UMF Invitational with a nine-over par, 79, and a seventh-place finish in the Colby Sid Farr Invitational with a 10-over par, 80.
Husson returns to play tomorrow with the Mariners Invitational set to take place at the Augusta Country Club.
