GORHAM, Maine – The Husson University women's golf team turned in a solid showing at the USM Husky Classic Sunday at the Riverside Golf Course in Gorham.
As a team, Husson finished at +76, matching Keene State College for second-place and trailing only Bentley University, which claimed the title at +33.
Senior Caitlyn Chabot led the Eagles with a 16-over-par, 88, to share eighth individually.
Freshman Caroline Chausse followed with a 91 for 12th, while fellow freshman Abigail Theriault posted a 92 to tie for 13th.
Senior Allie Weinert added a 93 to share 15th, and first-year Riley Fyfe carded a 106 for 24th.
The Eagles will be back on the course on Friday when they head to the Seawolf Shootout at the Val Halla Golf Club.
