WATERVILLE, Maine – The 2025 North Atlantic Conference Women's Volleyball Preseason Poll has been released and the Husson University women's volleyball team has been selected to finish in second in the conference, according to a vote of NAC head coaches.
Maine Maritime Academy claimed all nine first-place votes and 81 points overall while Husson finished second with 65 points and SUNY Delhi placed third with 57 points. Rounding out the top five vote getters are Thomas College (52 points) and SUNY Cobleskill (48 points), finishing fourth and fifth respectively.
In sixth place with 40 points is UMaine-Presque Isle and Vermont State University Johnson followed with 35 points in seventh place. Vermont State University Lyndon and Lesley University tallied 15 and 12 points to round out the poll.
Three NAC women's volleyball teams open the 2025 season on Friday, August 29, including the Eagles, who will begin the Gordon Invitational against Lasell University. Non-conference play will continue through the first four weeks until NAC action starts Friday, September 26th.
