BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University women's soccer team has announced the commitment of Tess Weaver from the class of 2026, who will join the Eagles next season.
Weaver joins the Eagles from Reading, Massachusetts, where she attends Reading Memorial High School.
A three-year varsity starter for Reading, Weaver currently plays club soccer for the New England Surf, while also having played for the FC Stars and the Aztec Soccer Club.
Weaver is a midfielder who is a captain for Reading in her senior season for both soccer and basketball, has maintained honor roll level grades throughout her time in high school.
"From the moment that I stepped onto campus, I knew that it felt different from anywhere else I had been," Weaver said. "I'd always known that I wanted to choose a smaller school that prioritized academics while also allowing me to continue my athletics and after learning about Husson, I knew that it was the place for me. Talking with Coach Mullins only helped to confirm my thoughts, and I couldn't be more excited to step into this new chapter."
Additionally off the field, Weaver is a member of the National Honor Society and has been a Rocket Ambassador in 2025 and 2026.
"I'd like to thank my family and coaches for always supporting me and helping me grow into the player that I am," Weaver concluded. "As well as my sister Lily for always pushing me and encouraging me to work harder and never give up!"
While at Husson, Weaver plans to study exercise science/doctor of physical therapy.
