Kyhill named CNE rookie of the week

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Conference of New England announced its weekly awards for football on Monday and Husson University freshman Max Kyhill was named rookie of the week.

Kyhill was great for the Eagles in their dominant 63-19 win over Nichols College on Saturday, as he earned the start at linebacker and led the team with nine total tackles. Kyhill racked up a co-game high six solo tackles, in addition to three unassisted stops.

Husson returns to the field on Saturday for its regular season finale against Maine Maritime Academy for senior day at 1 p.m.
