WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference announced its final weekly awards of the season for men's golf and Husson University men's golf junior Juan Carlos Hernandez and freshman Michael Bruce picked up honors.

Hernandez recorded player of the week after two top-3 performances this past week for Husson at the Seawolf Shootout and the USM Husky Classic. At the Seawolf Shootout, Hernandez finished in third place with a three-over par, 74, as Husson won the team title. To finish his week, Hernandez fired a three-under par, 69, to earn co-medalist honors at the USM Husky Classic, as the Eagles took second as a team.

Bruce was named rookie of the week after he recorded a top-10 finish in one of the two events that Husson competed in this past week at the Seawolf Shootout and the USM Husky Classic. Bruce finished tied for seventh at the USM Husky Classic with a one-over par, 73, while also adding a 10-over par, 81, at the Seawolf Shootout to finish in a tie for 16th.

The Eagles return to the links on Saturday for day one of the NAC championship at the Cobleskill Country Club.
