WATERVILLE, Maine – The four-time defending North Atlantic Conference champion Husson University men's golf team is projected to win their fifth consecutive season as the NAC announced the 2025 NAC Men's Golf Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll results.
The Eagles garnered 61 points and five of the nine first-place votes to put them at the top of the poll. Two points behind them are 2024 runner-up SUNY Delhi with 59 points; the Broncos earned the remaining three first-place votes. Lesley University and Maine Maritime Academy placed third and fourth place respectively with the Lynx securing 43 points and the Mariners 42 points. Rounding out the top five is SUNY Cobleskill with 35 points. The Fighting Tigers will also serve as the host of the 2025 championship.
UMaine-Farmington (21 points), UMaine-Presque Isle (18 points), and Vermont State University Johnson (9 points) placed sixth through eighth, respectively, in the 2025 pre-championship poll.
The 2025 NAC Championship will be played on Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12 at the Cobleskill Golf & Country Club in Cobleskill, New York. The winner of the 2025 NAC Championship will earn an automatic qualifier into the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship, which will be played at the Mission Resort and Club in Orlando, Florida, hosted by Oglethorpe University and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission.
