COBLESKILL, N.Y. – The Husson University men's golf team concluded the North Atlantic Conference championship on Sunday and finished as the team runners-up at the Cobleskill Country Club.
The Eagles were bested by SUNY Delhi in round two, as the Broncos rallied from being five strokes down at the end of day one to win the conference title by eight strokes with a team score of 603, while Husson shot rounds of 301 and 310 on the weekend.
Junior Bradley Chisholm led Husson individually with a score of +7 for the tournament to finish in second place after firing rounds of 71 and 76 on the weekend.
Junior Jace Cook recorded a sixth-place finish after recording a +13 weekend with rounds of 74 and 79.
Junior Juan Carlos Hernandez came in a tie for seventh with a score of +14 after shooting a 79 on day one and a 75 on day two.
Junior Ty Dickson rounded-out the scoring players for the Eagles with a +17 for the tournament thanks to rounds of 77 and 80 to finish in a tie for 11th.
Freshman Michael Bruce finished solo in 17th-place after shooting back-to-back rounds of 82 to conclude the weekend at +24.
The Eagles conclude their fall season next weekend when they compete in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship in Brewster, Massachusetts on Saturday and Sunday.
