Women’s soccer releases 2023 schedule

| By:
BANGOR, Maine — The Husson University women's soccer team has released its upcoming fall 2023 schedule, which features 18 games, including 11 that will be played on the team's home turf, John P. Boucher Field.

"I'm really looking forward to the start of our season," said head women's soccer coach Dennis Mullins. "We are playing some new opponents and some tough in-state non-conference matchups early on to help us get ready for a run at the conference championship."

The Eagles open the season on Sept. 1 as they travel to Boston, Mass. to take on Emmanuel College. Husson then returns home for a four-game homestand which includes games against Marian University on Sept. 3, followed by back-to-back games against New England Small College Athletic Conference foes Colby College and Bates College on Sept. 6 and 9, and concludes with the team's North Atlantic Conference opener against Thomas College on Sept. 12.

Following their game against Thomas, The Eagles will play four more conference games to round out the month of September as they will travel to the University of Maine at Presque Isle on the 19th before hosting the University of Maine at Farmington on the 23rd. Husson then hits the road on Wednesday, Sept. 27 for a North Atlantic Conference East Division Championship game rematch against Maine Maritime Academy, followed by a Saturday matinee on Sept. 30 against Vermont State University Lyndon.

Husson will then host back-to-back non-conference games to open up October as they will take on Tufts University on Oct. 1 and the University of New England on Oct. 4. The Eagles will return to conference action on Oct. 7 and 8 as they will welcome SUNY Morrisville and SUNY Poly for back-to-back NAC games. The team will then face a three-game road trip that stretches across three different states as the Eagles will travel to Farmington on Oct. 11 to take on the University of Maine at Farmington, followed by a trip to Cambridge, Mass. to take on Lesley University on Oct. 14, which precedes a non-conference dual with Keene State College on Oct. 15.

Husson will round-out its 2023 regular season schedule with a mid-week conference battle with the University of Maine at Presque Isle on Oct. 18 and a trip to Waterville to take on Thomas College on Oct. 21.
