JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - The Husson University women's golf team completed the final round of the inaugural women's Camp Lejeune Collegiate on Sunday as the Eagles finished sixth overall with a 54-hole team card score of 1141.
Husson was led by sophomore
Lindsay Cote who finished ninth overall with a three-day card of 251 after shooting a 86 today. Freshman
Allie Weinert recorded a career-low 85 on Sunday to finish 18th with a combine card of 273. Freshman
Caitlyn Chabot placed 23rd with a three-day total of 296, while senior
Sydney Devine brought home a 27th place finish with a 321 card.
Caroline Tamburstuen of Averett University claimed the medalist honors with a three-day total of 224 and Bridgewater College won the inaugural championship with a team card of 968.
The Eagles return to action on April 22nd for the first day of the 2023 Northeast Women's Colf Conference Championship. The championship will be played at the Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, Conn.
