BOSTON, Mass. — Sophomore Christian Zapata took home the high jump title on Sunday, while the men's indoor track & field team put together a strong showing at the Frozen 8 Indoor Track & Field Championships, breaking the school distance-medley relay record.
 
Sophomore Conner DeCourt finished third in the 400 meters, breaking his own program record with a time of 52.14. Fellow sophomore David Hileman finished fourth in the 5,000 meters with a mark of 16:27.73.
 
Senior Phil Feeney finished sixth overall in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.70. While the Eagles distance-medley relay team of sophomore Erik LoSacco, Zapata, sophomore Richard Cromwell and Hileman finished fifth with a time of 11:22.24, smashing the previous program record of 11:38.33 set back during the 2019 season. 
 
Zapata won the high jump with a height of 1.87 meters, setting the third-best mark in program history. While senior Josh Hart finished third in the pole vault with a vault of 3.75 meters. 
 
Freshman Avery Gagnon cleared a distance of 11.91 meters in the triple jump to finish fourth overall to conclude the Eagles scoring.
