BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University women's lacrosse team scored a victory on senior day as they celebrated the career of Marissa Adams with a 16-6 victory over the Wildcats of SUNY Poly. 

The Eagles (1-9, 1-5 NAC) and Wildcats (1-11, 1-6 NAC) exchanged goals to begin the contest before the Eagles scored five unanswered goals to take a 5-1 lead after 15 minutes. The Eagles continued to stretch the lead through the contest en route to the 16-6 victory. 

Freshman Maddy Benoit led the scoring for Husson with four goals and an assist while junior Devyn Vetes added three goals and two assists. Junior Sophia Gomez also added a hat trick in the senior finale. Freshman Sydney Heth and sophomore Montanna Carrier tallied their first collegiate goals in the victory for the Eagles. Freshman Emma Begin made ten saves in net. 

The victory concludes the season for women's lacrosse.
