WATERVILLE, Maine - The Husson University women's lacrosse team dropped a North Atlantic Conference game at Thomas College on Saturday afternoon by a score of 11-4.

The Eagles fell behind early, as the Terriers poured in five first period goals and didn't relinquish the lead.

Freshman Maddy Benoit recorded a goal in the second quarter for Husson, while junior Sophia Gomez tallied two goals in the third period, and freshman Natalie Whitten put a shot into the back of the net in the final quarter.

Freshman Emma Begin was in net for the Eagles and made 21 saves.

Husson is back in action on Saturday, April 9th, as they travel to SUNY Canton. The opening face-off for this conference matchup is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
