Sophomore goalkeeper Jess Poulin (Albion, ME) stopped all 2 shots she faced on goal.
"It was great to come out with another conference win today. Our finishing wasn't great overall, but Becca's free kick and Kelsey's goal off Hannah's assist were both fantastic. We also controlled possession and switched the point of attack well, and we're looking forward to getting out and competing again on Wednesday." Said Coach Carly Gettler after the game.
In a physical game laced with numerous injury stoppages, Husson prevailed and improves to 6-11 on the season and 6-1 in NAC play. Husson will travel to University of Maine at Farmington on Wednesday (Oct, 17) to play a conference match at 12:15 PM.
