Hoxsie corralled a pass from Meghan Blongy (Rutland, VT), made a
move
past a Husson defender and struck a low, bending line drive just
inside
the far side post. Not only was Hoxsie's goal the decisive one,
the
senior marking back also blanketed Shelby Bradford (Lee, ME) for

lead.
Katelyn Cloutier (Groveton, NH) had a pair of opportunities, one
that
Davis turned away with a one-handed stop and a second with a
sprawling
save.
Husson appeared to score the equalizer in the 22nd minute as
Megan
LaJoie (Van Buren, ME) slipped one past Davis. The goal was
overturned
as the side judge had ruled a hand-ball infraction had occurred
near
midfield prior to the attempt.
Jen Plourde (Howland, ME) stopped three shots in the loss.
Husson returns to action next Saturday when the Eagles play host
to
Lyndon State College in NAC action at 1:00 pm. Castleton hits the
road
