WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference unveiled its preseason poll results for men's soccer on Wednesday and the Husson University men's soccer team was picked first by the coaches.
Husson racked up 61 points in the poll, including five of the eight first-place votes, while the Eagles were followed closely behind by Thomas College, who totaled 59 points and the remaining three first-place tallies.
Maine Maritime Academy finished in third place with 46 points, the University of Maine at Farmington totaled 42 points to come in fourth and Lesley University rounded out the top-five with 30 points.
Vermont State University Johnson (24), the University of Maine-Presque Isle (16) and Vermont State University Lyndon (10) rounded out the poll.
The Eagles will open their 2026 campaign on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at home when they take on the University of Southern Maine at 6:30 p.m.
