BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University men's soccer team has announced the commitment of Alexander Forrest from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Forrest joins the Eagles after competing for AMVJ in the Netherlands' 1e Klasse league. During the 2024-25 season, he helped his team capture a league championship. He has also served as a captain since the U17 level.
"I chose Husson because it felt like the right place for me both on and off the field," said Forrest. "The coaching staff, the team environment, and the opportunity to continue developing as a player and as a person made this an easy decision. I'm looking forward to competing at a high level and being part of a great community."
Forrest also expressed his gratitude to those who have supported him throughout his soccer journey.
"I also want to thank my family, coaches, teammates, and everyone who has supported me along the way," he said. "I truly appreciate everything you've done to help me get to this point."
