BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University softball team has named Mackenzie Robbins as its newest 2026 commitment.

Robbins comes to Husson from Madison Area Memorial High School in Madison, Maine, where she has played for years of varsity softball for the Bulldogs.

"I am excited to announce that I have committed to continue my academic and athletic career playing softball at Husson University," said Robbins. "I look forward to growing both as a player and an individual through this opportunity!"

A shortstop for Madison, Robbins has been a MVC First Team All-Star the previous two seasons, while also earning MVC Second Team All-Star recognition in 2023.

"I would like to thank my family and coaches for their support and encouragement throughout this journey," said Robbins. "This would not be possible without the time, effort, and belief they have instilled in me over the years. I am incredibly grateful for all of their help and support!"

While at Husson, Robbins plans to study exercise science/doctor of physical therapy.
