WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference unveiled its weekly awards for men's lacrosse on Monday and Husson University men's lacrosse senior Kiernan Field and freshman Alek Duprey were honored.
Field took home his third player of the week award after he put together another strong week for the Eagles in a 1-1 week for the team, including another North Atlantic Conference victory over SUNY Cobleskill. Field totaled two goals and two assists for Husson in a lob-sided 13-3 win over Cobleskill on Monday, in addition to contributing one ground ball, before ending the week on Wednesday with a six-goal performance on the road in a tightly contested loss to Salem State University, while also adding four ground balls and a caused turnover.
Duprey secured his first rookie of the week award of the year after he was a main contributor for the Eagles in a 13-3 win over SUNY Cobleskill on Monday on the road, as he recorded five goals and one assist and scored on five of his six total shot attempts.
The Eagles are back in action on Saturday when they host SUNY Delhi at 12 p.m.
